Gorgeous trailhead optimal for couples or adventurous families as the terrain is vary natural. Requires roughly 5-6 minutes of walking on trail. Located just one hour west of boulder showcasing breathtaking views of the Indian Peaks. The drive is moderate and comparable to driving to Estes (a bit easier in my opinion) Opens late June and available until Mid October. Best in the summer months weather wise.

The location is essentially in the mud down in the river and you are welcome to get barefoot and splash around in the water, in fact I encourage it! Please keep in mind this one is not for the faint of heart. There are bugs, mud and lots of little critters. Please expect this to be a beach session including: *muddy feet and shoes *muddy clothes or swim suits.
Bring extra clothes, towels, shoes, wipes and bags for dirty clothes.
